FX5 rim connector problem

Thanks guys. I took the O rings out and got them to slip on eventually. I don't think they will ever come off without breaking them though. The new filter is up and running like a champ.

You think getting them ON is a PITA? Try taking them off! I sold a 180 gallon tank and the only way I could get them off is by breaking them.

that's exactly what I'm afraid of. Maybe I should order some new ones now
