Fx5 stopped working

How old is the filter? Perhaps the motor took an early spring break vacation.

It was working perfectly fine before I cleaned it. But it's almost 2 years.

Check the impeller. Same thing happened to me recently. I took impeller off and cleaned everything real good. It fired back up with no problems

It's funny (sad, really) how I keep seeing this thread over and over about this same filter. It is just a poorly designed filter priced like a well designed filter by a company that normally makes a good product.

Yes that box that hangs off the bottom. Pull that off . There are 4 Phillips head screws. You will see the impeller inside. Pull it out carefully and rinse it off. Look inside motor and see if there is any debris, sand,etc. wipe it out with a paper towel or rag. Reassemble and try it out.

When mine stops I give it a good kick to the motor n it spins free. Sometimes u need to take the motor off though..

I just stick a hose in it and it gets it going lol.
