Crap, I just saw the warning on the cichlid-forum trading post, and sent $300 out thru Paypal 2 days ago. How many folks got burned here, and how much hassle was it to get refunds through paypal?

USERNAMES: 'fishonthebrain' and 'aquasteve'
EMAILS: don_pendleten@yahoo.com & jessichromis@hotmail.com
NAMES: don pendleten and jess flanagan

Between Paypal and the credit card company I'll get a refund one way or another. At least it wasn't a transfer from my bank account.

Wow, just red the entire thread.

I have been scammed before, IC3 can only do so much. Just take it up to your CC and paypal to file for as chargeback. Some of you will get it back, some of you may not.

let this be a lesson learned.

We think ourselves in this forum as one big trusty family, unfortunately other people will take advantage of it.

Get referrals, buy from a reputable member and on top of it all, don't fall to our vulnerability.

IF you take it up with your CC you will definately get it back most of the time. Trust me I got mine back for $1300 dollars and they let me keep the ****ty laptop. Your CC will chargeback paypal.
