Where eva theres Cichla!!!
hey i was thinkin bout getn another fx5 for my 180 gall, i know u can over filtrate ur tank but the reason why i wanna get another is becaus i will be housing my 3 tems, 4 monos, 2 snooks, 1 butti in there for atleast another year...bare in mind none the fish will not be over 12", currently lookin at getn 6x3x30" built by early next year...

all these fish, surely 2 fx5's will be fine??

im assuming you meant *cant* overfilter, but yeah, i think that would be good. i personally wouldnt run just one FX5 on anything less than 150g, but thats just me!!!!

the 2 fx5's will be fine on the 180 but...

in "atleast" a year your pbass will be bigger then 12" and you might want to think about extending that 6' tank by a few feet if you expect that to be the final tank.... the Temz alone would destroy that as they get about 3ft...

yeah man very true, but as long as i live at home 6'3 is the largest i can go! i live in a lil bungalo out the back...hehe one i get my house i will be building 600 GAL+ to house my cichla...

ok wicked 2 fx5's it is...

I have an FX5 on a 55G tank & Tetratec EX1200... its fine, not too strong... I reckon your fine with two FX5's in a 180g... more than fine ;)
