FX5

Hi All,

Would a FX5 be too powerful for a 4ft, 60 gallon fish tank? Or should I get something like a AquaClear 110 or AquaClear 70?

Fx5 Will be perfect, nothing wrong with a little extra filtration imo.

I would do both. That way you can have turbulance at the top and bottom of the tank.

I am running a Fluval FX6 on a 135 and really the output is strong but not that bad. You could always put a "t" in the output line and either do multiple outputs or add a spray bar to help distribute the current throughout the tank.

i had a fx5 on a 50 gallon and it wasnt too strong lol

Nope fx5 on a 60 gallon is fine
