Hello guys I have a few products to fill my fx6 and I was wandering which ones would work the best. I have zeo- carb and just straight fluval carbon, fluval ammonia remover, ceramic bio filtration(a ton of it), one came with the filter the other I already had, and a bunch of standard filter pads from Petco that you can cut.(this is all fluval brand except filter pad) What ones should I use in which layers? Sorry last edit, I was thinking of filling the bottom of the filter with purigen, the second layer with all matrix bio filteration, the third and final layer with all matrix bio filtration was well as 2 filter pads bought at the petco, Would that me adequate for my 210g tank housing a jardini, 2 kelbri peacock bass, orante bichir, jaguar cichlid, oscar, and spotted gar?
I run my fx6 slap full of bio max ultra and filter floss, and I use my hob emperor 400 for the chemical filtration with chemipure and purigen in my 125g sa cichlid tank.
Ok, now I don't have room for hang on back filters due to where the tank is located, so will it be ok to have one layer of purigen and everything else with seachem matrix and a filter pad on top?
