Well, fellas. I have some interesting info. I decided against keeping the aquariums and took them back today. The cashier (common sense challenged individual I might add), after about 5 minutes of looking at the tank and receipt refunded me for both aquariums and wanted to put $87. back onto my credit card. I politely told him that I had paid $101.45 for the two and charged tax based on the original msrp. He proceeded to tell me that the tanks were only $40.00, etc. and insisted that it was the correct amount despite the total on the original receipt. Two assistant managers came out and put their brains together to finally refund me the entire amount. Beware if this happens to you.

$1 a gallon sale is only for the tanks that are 55gal or less. Its advertised on there website.

i highly doubt it's illegal, especially in california like with the cell phones. plus, they state that you will be taxed on the full retail price.
