The first 2 spawnings I missed; just woke up to 2 females guarding their eggs. Got to watch them spawn with the 3rd female. Prior to all spawning saw mostly female preparing/cleaning rock surfaces. As far as fry are concerned... May the strong survive. The rest shall provide nutrition. I like to leave the parents with their clutches until they get really good at raising their young. Then they make outstanding parents down the road. Practice makes perfect. These guys are in a species only tank with swordtail dithers/target fish. Should be interesting to see how many make it.
