Now that all the previous inhabitants are in bigger setups, I downsized the tiger moray to a 20G and I have to say the behavior is night and day. One of the few fish out there where smaller is truly better in my personal opinion. They seem very shy and intimidated in bigger setups, unless in large groups from what I’ve seen. I imagine he may do some snacking, but I’m digging this little setup with a proper piece of wood/plants in this size tank.

Figured I’d post a pic of my G Poly, he’s either in the fan or in the overflow. Love to see some of the sh** yours does so post away.

I’ve seen some large tank recommendations for these guys and as far as I can tell, they prefer the opposite ? This guy is about 18 inches so still pretty young.

Freshwater moray are awesome, but they are pretty good at getting out of tanks….
