Im in Louisville, KY. I will call them tomorrow and see what they can do for the remaining bowfin.

It has been less then an hour so we will see how he adjusts. Im originally from Alabama and Ive caught them in swamps in water that I know was well over 90 degrees! They should do fine in a trop tank.

Yeah, figured they would do fine, I've seen them here in the summer gulping air, so figured they would handle the warmer temps. Are you going to drop the temp for it in the winter months or just keep it constant temp with the other trops?

Crazy cool man! What are you going to keep it with? I'm really wanting to get some, just don't know what to keep them with...lol. They get so large, seem to eat everything! :D POND BABY!! :D

Definately give them a call and give me a holla man!! :D That would be pimp!! :D Thanks!! Really appreciate you helping me out! :D

BTW...looking at that clear pic of it gives me GOOSE BUMPS! AWESOME!!

Do you know how to tell gender? I heard that one gender keeps the spot at the dorsal and the other looses it. Not sure which sex is which, but would be cool to find out.

Well I was planning on putting him wtih my cichla, dats and three marble motoros, but it always seem that when in a small tank at the LFS they look big but when I bring them home they are alot smaller then what they looked!

For now I have decided to put him in a 29 gallon half filled with water, no heater, no filter, and filled with hairalgae and java moss and see how he does! Should be a cool experiment.

Like I said Ive found these guys in the nastiest, smelliest, shallowiest, swamps you can think of so I actually think he will do fine!

I think I can ship these guys priority 2 day for cheap and no problem if you are interested.

I need to ship Gr8 out something too damn it!

sweet pick up....

Awesome man! I want a bowfin too!
