Mega-size of everything! I wonder how much turnover is required, if even that's a metric at that level LOL. How'd you "sneak" in there ;-)

The blue cylindrical filters in the first photo are nitrate filters. They convert the nitrate to nitrogen gas with anaerobic bacteria. Basically Seachem denitrate on a very large scale.

The blue cylindrical filters on my 4th post were sand filters. Each one had 4000lbs of sand in it, and there were at least 10-15 clusters of 4.

The Ga Aquarium also buys their sand by the ton (Instant ocean loves them), and they grow trees (Not sure what sp.) in their aquariums, just like how we grow pothos in ours.
