hey guys!!! i gotta tell everybody, i'm sooo excited!!!

ya know my "little" ocellaris dudes? the 9"+ group. Gabby (the guy with the broken jaw) has a neuchal hump!!!!!!!! he's a BOY!!!!!!!!!:woot::woot::woot::woot:

Horse is getting a hump too, but he's considerably smaller than Gabby still (i thought the other one was Mo, but i was wrong, Horse is the smallest guy in the tank).

NIce. No funny business yet??

gabby is awsome looking.. did he do that in your tank or you bought him like that. i know you told me but i cant remember.

tongue,no funny business yet.. but the entire group is in a 150 gallon tank, it's kinda crowded.. i doubt anything will happen.

boost, i was feeding them one night, frozen bloodworm cubes when they were tiny guys, i didn't see it happen, but i think one of the siblings tried to steal Gabby's hunk o bloodworms out of his mouth. i fed them that night and when i got up in the morning and fed them again Gabby's mouth was like that. I thought he had just got it out of joint and it would go back to normal.. but it didn't.

nice nuchal hump growing there! glad to hear you have a confirmed male, even with a jaw like that he still looks cute :)

no offense to ur tank ....but if you take out that castle your fish will have a lot more room to swim.

i had to put the castle back in.. i had it out for a long time, but the snook and plecos need hiding spots.. and i'm going to get some more crayfish for the tank.. i miss my big blue australian crayfish.. so the decorations have to be there..

Gabby was a plain normal Cichla Ocellaris when i bought him.. it's not like he's going to pass it to his descendents.. it's not genetic.

and i like him just the way he is.. he actually eats more than the other fish do because his mouth is like that. which i believe is why he's bigger than his siblings.
