i just happen to have a couple nice hunks of driftwood soaking.. or hopefully sinking.. i've had them weighted down in a bucket since before i went on vacation. and the dern things still float. im gonna have to tie them to the artificial log or something to get them to stay down.

ok cool.. yeh put a brick on it and it should stay down soon.. how long you had it soaking for now?

daaamn that long! and thei rstill floating.. that's some super driftwood.. have you replaced the old water and filled it up with new water.. that help water log my drift wood..

yea, had to.. i was breeding mosquitos and the water got stinky. but both pieces still float.

one i had in the angelfish tank with another piece of driftwood on top of it, but the water was turning brown in 2 days.. i was having to do water changes 2 or 3 times a week so i could see my fish.

so now just the hunks of driftwood that stay down are in the angelfish tank and the other piece is back in a bucket with a piece of ceramic tile on top of it.
