Hahahaha I love these thinks. They look so funny but are so cute. I wish I had a tank free to have one but I've never came across one either. Nice gulper though!

I bought 3 about 4 months ago at 1.5" or so. I don't feed them but about 3 times a week, but i vary their diet pretty regularly, they have grown to about 3-3.25" long now. They live by themselves in a 30"x24"x 14" aquarium that holds about 40 gallons +/-. I really like the little guys/girls. The ph is FINALLY about 6.6 and steady , and the hardness is low as well thanks to peat, oak leaves, and rain water. This picture is about a month or so old and they were in a specimen container waiting to get moved into their own aquarium. They are actually quite a bit larger now that I've actually compared the photos to the actual fish. I really enjoy mine and they eat from my hand if I so desire. Good luck with your great looking fish. Enjoy!!! Thanks.IMAG0574.jpgIMAG0569.jpg

Thanks man! Your little golf balls look great as well. Good thing that clown knife doesnt harass them or anything?

Yeah, my gulper now is surprisingly, active and rowdy. Unlike my previous 2 gulpers before who were a bit timid. This one knows when i have something in my hand and would play tag with me hehe my favorite fish in the world

Actually, it's a real you know what of a clown knife. It's about 5" long and splitting the fins on a 7" Tiger shovelnose catfish constantly. I've never actually seen the CK do any harassment, but my trophy wife has. Lol!!! Trying to figure out what to do with the blame thing actually, so good call. The Gulper Catfish are by themselves, and are gonna stay that way. I like em'.
