Hmm I saw some farlowella acus in the LFS today..I loved them..My da didn't GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
cool looking fish but everyone got their own opinion what's cool and what's not esp. your dad 
Good luck figuring out what you really want. If the eel was what you really wanted, you wouldn't be complaining about pocket money and making plans to save money for the fish and waiting for the perfect specimen to come along. Im sure youre not the only one as everyone had to make due with the fish of their dreams when it came to money.

If you got the eel you could probaly feed it the sailfin mollies you have thats the only thing there good for! no jk. But if you want the eel i say go for it, save up some money and get it. PS i really have no clue if that type of eel eats fish

That'd be fun...Im sorta worried about the shipping part with the eel..What if it is DOA from england? Then what do I do? What if it is agressive..? Or nippy? Or jumps..? Or just dosent feed ect..I worry too much dont I?

should be fine if its packaged properly, they don't seem an aggresive fish, from when i've seen them there one of the more active spiny's too.
