Galvanised steel

Anyone taken an anglegrinder to a galvanised tank before? Do I need to worry about the ZnO or will doing it outside be enough to not get metal fume fever???

I wouldnt trust it. Taking a grinder to galvinized isnt too far away from welding it.
Rear a respirator and ventilate as much as possible (fans, etc.)

How big is the tank you're doing and how much grinding do you have to do?

4ft by 4ft by 4ft.... needs to come down to 4ft, by 4ft by 2ft to fit through the door!!!! So its gonna be one cut all the way round...

Dont just get r done, use a respirator. If you heat up galvanized metal in any way shape or form, it will release fumes. (talking through experience).

Either get a respirator or get one of these guys with a death wish to do it for you! You've still got a good 50 yrs left, maybe they don't...
