ive spent countless hours grinding.. ive yet to light anything other than my hair on fire.. and even that just sorta smoked a bit and went out... but keeping a wet towel on hand is never a bad idea....

do you suppose we should tell him that there is a cut-off wheel designed for such things as cutting sheet?

maybe using a strip of duct tape on both sides to keep the zinc from smoking so bad?

The alcohol was extremely dissapointing...I poured in a bottle counted to 30 then tossed in the splint...nothing...tossed in another splint...nothing...then my mate notices the slightest heat haze coming out the vent...just the alcohol burning...arse. I had high hopes for that idea!
Ok so depending on how well you count it should have been to 300 LOL Basically you don't want to catch the liquid on fire but the gasses from the liquid... thats what makes the BANG! (not that I know anything about it whatso ever 
)
