i grew up on a firm as part of a hunting family, we raised animals and we ate them, we even named some of the ones that we ate,
farming is part of the foundation of our cicilization, to say it isn't civilized is sooooooo
uneducated

Look I eat game fish all the time. I have a largemouth bass as a pet. I might eat a delicious bass, but not my tank raised pet. If you have a legitimate fish farm then fine. You cross a line when you eat your pets. This is not morally right.


We don't eat dogs in this country because they are PETS. If you want a tasty Gourami then go to a restaurant that serves it. I''' have some Van DeKamps fish sticks from the tasty supermarket and spare my pets.

I took offence to that because I was raised on a farm as well. We did eat what we raised. We did name them, because we didnt know any different...and there was really nothing else to do for fun....
Farming isnt fun and games....Its really tough work. I no longer farm, my family got out of it about 5 years ago....but I still have a respect for farmers.
