There's a time limit for how quickly people will lose interest in this thread because they can't guess some obscure geo species.

Don't tell people what it is right, but give more hints until somebody gets it. And then if there is no obvious interest left, you can say what it is, and whoever posts next can start with a new species.

OK. No better hints than the two identifying marks that ID this species: VERY large midlateral spot (black cicrle on flanks that cover more than 4 scales)and a preopercular mark (black smuge on the cheek)
ps - inside my profile there is an earth eater group that lists every species currently gategorized as well as the sp's which this species isn't
Feel free to go as obscure as you want, just not some genus that has a million species that look exactly the same, except some tiny little markings.
That one looks like a dicrossus/characin hybrid.
Nope, but it should get around the same size as the former!
