Boy o boy do my cichla love brooke trout. Especially my big azul. Went out ice fish today and kept a limit of brookies for tonights dinner....noodle dish. MMMMmmmmm :)

I may have to start keepn trout more often for my fish. Much cheaper than the 10 shrimp a day.
 
Went and got some fresh ahi flown in from hawaii from a local market yesterday....Made spicy handrolls :) And there was some gristley pieces left over....needless to say my cichla LOVE sushi grade ahi just like me :)
 
lol.. Better the ahi then the trout.. Fillet and release lol I meant catch and release.

We release 95% of the fish. Little cheaper feeding some brookie filets than feeding 10 shrimp. Caught 8 between the 2 of us today and kept 3 for my bass :)

Hahah I was originally just joking to back up my man gangsta from the big shots over here but I feel if I continue this may get out of hand. I don't want to make you cry ;) Btw I retired the Audi, I drive a brand new bimmer now. :headbang2 although I still miss the boost.

Errrhh Yeahh! Same here bradda. You have to protect the stock.. Protecting the stock will only work if everyone gets together, catch and releases, and people need to stop poaching! :irked: I have no problems with you being able to keep your limit if your going to feed your family but out here a lot of times it's just about bragging rights and they have no respect for the fish. I'm starting to get the winter blues, I have lipped a striped bass in almost 2 months :eek: and it's driving me crazzzy. lol :D

Enough derailing your thread, how about an update?
