Gap between tank and steel stand

I have a glass cages tank and they won’t warreanty unless I put foam under my glass tank. They supplied the 1/2 foam so I followed their directions. It has a very minimal plastic trim bottom.

thanks again for the input guys-I'm going to get some plywood underneath.

I've also contacted Aqueon for their opinion but expect them to give a standard answer that the base must be level etc.

Yup OP, I think for your case that the plywood will help and distribute the weight as JK suggested ar the top. Sorry we distracted a bit with foam talk.
