great thread! love the progression. your pond looks like my kind of place!! that's a huge flock of turkeys; probably twice the size i normally see on this side of the state

How many gars did you end up finding in the end? Start breeding some Cubans and Trops man!

Nice cichla too, been wanting to get some cichla for a while now what kind are those in your avatar?
 
I probably collected two dozen total by the end of the fall. Here's a picture of the last group I took out. I gave them away to a few local guys and kept a couple for myself. uploadfromtaptalk1423751609821.jpg

Update:
Haven't seen any of the gar yet this year. Its probably due to the crap weather we've been having. Water temperature is still below 50F so they aren't very active yet.
