GAR & Chiclids Together?

I'm thinking of adding 2 9 inch alligator gars to one of my tanks that has a 7 inch Jack Dempsey, 1 10 green terror and 2 7 inch green terrors. You think the cichlids would mess with the gars????

P.s - I am getting the two gars for a very nice price, next to nothing!!!!

the gator gar will end up killing the cichlids over time. they may mess w/ him a little, but they will fall prey.

i'd be worried about the gar loosing an eye from the EYEBITER h. compreseseps(sp)
