Gar feeding

Looks like you got yourself some Peacock Bass. They are a lot more aggressive eaters than Gars and in fact, may start picking on the Gar. Seems that Pbass are attracted to silvery fish. Pbass will definitely out compete the Gar for food and the Gar may eventually get picked on by the Pbass.

I don't know much about Peacock Bass but I sometimes fish for gar and i know they will readily eat cut up fish so you might be able to try that if nothing else works
