I have been offered a florida gar at 18" for £80 is that a fair price.

i think gars usually run pretty expensive out there? that seems like a decent price (given your region) for a gar that big. perhaps those that live out there can provide a better base price reference though--

conversion to american dollars is a little over $111 correct? seems high to me but it depends on how common they are there and such...bump for a better answer.

Having done a little research i think it is a good price wharf aquatics where i usually go have 16" floridas for £180!!!!

but his FF and syno are with bichirs without a problem right?
you never know til you try...

Its ok i wont risk anything and i have spare tanks to shuffle fish if need be so ni fish will come to harm
