Gar ID- part 3

Osseus, Platyrhincus, Oculatus, Platostomus
 
first and las i say osseus. cause of thelong nose and typical juvvy ln patterning. the 2nd and 4th have typical oculatus/platyrinchus pattern but really long noses...im going w oculatus/platyrinchus

I have no Oculatus/platyrincus I either have one or the other and none that are unknown ... It is however a good and an appropriate guess to say both as they are mostly indistinguishable.

These might or might not be the fish... I'll give the answers in a few days...

they all look like Lepisosteus species. i dont see a gator, trop, or cuban. im taking that its a good thing that i listed the L. species cuz of the smiley.

that wasn't really what i was asking (guess i worded that a little differently than i thought), i was wondering what your explanation was as to why each fish was the species you ID'd it as...i.e...why did you say longnose for the first one and so on and so forth? richard had asked that people explain their answers (i believe xander did in his answer) --
