They all look exactly like mine...Florida! As far as size about 17"...give or take 1" for the larger one

If it is Florida, or Spotted, they've got some strange colour and pattern.
Unlike any I've seen in real life.

pattern is due to the light sand substrate...this would eventually happen with any gar of that species placed into that environment. if you were to take them out and put them on black substrate, they would have a darker/higher-contrast pattern.--

Two shortnose and two Florida? Have to be two of the lightest Florida gars I've ever seen, with very faint spotting.

alright, you guys are close. it is 1 shortnose amd 3 florida gar.
biggest florida is 17" while the other one beside him is just under 14"
and they are only about 3 months apart!!
