Gar ID

hey i was just wondering if you guys could id my new gar i picked up, it was listed as alligator gar at the lfs but there illegal in my state it looks more like a florida spotted gar to me, its hard to find any gar besides mosiac so i picked it up. sorry if the pics are bad, hes a little shy still, i can take more later if these are to bad to tell.

most likely a Florida gar...slim chance at a shortnose (probably less than 1%) --
