Gar Newbie, what's a good gar for a 100 to 150 gallon tank?>?

I really like those characins. I'm thinking of adding a couple in my 150.

they will max out around a foot and as lond as they can not eat it they will not bother it at all. so very un agressive. just make sure nothing fits in its mouth!
