gar newbie

i might plan on getting a gar, but want to know how fast and how much it grows in a period of time, the temp, ph, and does it bother fish that cant fit in it's mouth. and the price that it usually demand. thanks

Depending on what type of gar your talking about, the prices are diffrent.

Temp should be around 75-80 like any other fish.
Never heard of them needing a special pH, but keep it around 7.5.
And it grows fast if you get them small, and once they get a lil older and bigger, it slows down a bit.
