gar out of water...ouch!

yeah:D i think so.. but this is not the first time my gar jump at high...the first time i buy this monster i left it in my old small tank...im working with a new acri tank much bigger...my older brother told me that my gar jump ,...
and my cat watching it
 
yea he should be fine, my gator gar survived several hours out of water before i found him. he had red spots on him, put him right back in the tank. later that night he was already back to feeding.
 
My Gar jumped too, it would be behaving completely normal and suddenly vanish from the tank and you would hear just trashing wherever it landed. How big is your tank? And I must say it looks very dirty...
 
Jumping is normal for gars. just get a strong cover. Moreso in your case with that fat gar. not being rude but your gar needs to go on a diet. Try feeding it every other day. Two tilapias, as u put it, will do just fine even on every other day.
