gar pond in the way

just about all fishes have gas bladders, but the air-breathers have modified gas bladders (and some of them have what are considered lungs). some fishes lack them completely, such as sculpin, darters, etc. just a brief fyi/derailment on gas bladders and air breathing :) --

and that info will help me further my research on these fish. cuz i thought only this group of fish(gars, bowfin, bichirs) had them.

two of the gars are currently eating pellets, smallest is on feeders and biggest [chewie] has shown interest in a feeder today but i havent seen him eat yet. sorry the pond looks such a mess. i was using the hose the day before to fill the feeder tank. it's all coiled up nice now. need the damn hyacinth and lettuce to propagate fast so i can add some for the gars. also need to get rid of all those golf balls in there.

is it safe to eat the pacu? hahaha just couldnt wait anymore. it's basically the only reason the fish is still alive. oh yeah dude we should really gt the golf balls out tmr. i can go over early to help. haa
