Gar Quiz - the return - ID the fish

ok next quiz...two fish, may be really easy, may be really difficult :)

ID them both (as 1 and 2) and please explain your answers, good luck!--

1 and 2 are both spotted gar, though gar one seems a bit off. Id lean more twords wild florida but for both im gonna guess spotted. the length/width of the snout of gar 2 seems to seal the deal on gar 2 being a spotted. As well as color and pattern though u cant always use this to id gars but it does help narrow down the species.

Gar 1 im still unsure. the pattern and colors, as well as the snout seems to scream florida. But something tells me spotted. Hmmmm....
Im gonna have to say possible florida for gar 1
 
i'll add in that these are not photos i found on the internet (kind of like the last quiz); i shot both photographs personally :) --

Picture 1 florida. Realy no good reason for this guess. Mouth doesn't seem quite right for a spotted.

Picture 2 spotted. Longer mouth more characteristic of spotted.
 
1 florida/spotted
2 florida/spotted possibly a longnose hybrid.

hahaha...well if we assume they are both wild specimens, my comment should narrow it down to 5 species (not including hybrids) as that's the number of gar species i've been able to catch/sample in the wild. ...hopefully adding one more in a year or so :) --
