sorry they didnt have any mate but your right mark is a great guy who has his own monster tank with some big monsters in it ,so unlike most lfs he has the same passion as most of us . there is alway a lot of cool stuff in there as he does the ordering , its only a small famly run place but there is nowhere else in the northeast that have regularly have upto 4 types of snakehead at one time , last time i was there he also had bagrus (develcat) , juruense cats , xxxl topaz puffers , nice selection of birchirs , a couple of dats , a goliath tigarfish , a couple of rays , channa aurantimaculata (which i bought), channa Marulioides , Channa sp. 'Meghalaya Leopard' , Channa pulchra and the gars which i thought where tropical but turns out they where florida/spotted but looked really nice all the same , i do know where there is a couple of gators but both are approx 2ft but both theese shops had nothing else of interest in .
anyway i have ordered via mark before and he has always eith got me the fish or lets me know if his supplies says no chance , hope you find your gars anyway

just noticed the bowfin in 1st pic .great ,you have a nice collection there , ps how much and where did you find the asian if you dont mind me asking
