Gar updates

thanks everyone:D solomon, they aren't actually that plentiful...they always just seem to find a way to me. haha im not complaining...and yeah, im keeping about 3 pairs of eyes out for trop gars.:D joe, make sure you post updates..but rocket gar might not belong in this sub-forum. i always regretted that i didnt get clear shots of the 30" that showed it's size..

thanks:D yeah there's been a sudden influx of gar at my place...making me reconsider the new 6x3x2.5 for a 6x4x2 instead..what'd u guys think? which tank should i go for?

A 6x4x2 would be good as 2.5 doesn't really make a difference.

6 x 4' no question IMO...the height difference has no functional value for the gars in this case, but the extra width will be a great help. if you are doing overflows make sure they have enough of a gap from the top of the tank so as to allow plenty of breaching room for large gars...i already have to revamp the covers on GDII so the croc can breach without bumping his nose from time to time--

Everytime i see pics of your tank or any other gars, it makes me wanna dump my reef tank and get back....
