Ive never kept gar but we met this guy he had 3 of these and he said they were spotted x alligator when i got one but the research ive done i couldnt find much so thought id come here n get an id

I’ve seen a hybrid sold by toyin at rehoboth aquatics. Not sure the price and that was some time ago.

Don’t look like it. Looks like a Florida. That’s typical of most lfs and captive bred.

One can say it’s a hybrid and looks more spotted/Florida than the gator side. But that’s not what I’ve seen for sale and advertised.

Yeah wasnt a lfs was a guy my mate was getting a few rays from and he showed us these and o got one and thats what he said they were but thanks heaps been trying too find out for ages
