Knew they wouldn't touch just the garlic. Maybe if you try more garlic so they really get the smell.. Who knows

They'll take it eventually. Keep mashing it up and smothering it all over the pellets. Just have to keep it up. My pbass would not touch vitachem soaked pellets before, and now they love it. They used to gulp the pellet and spit it back out once they tasted the vitachem.
nls has garlic in it maybe try mixing some of it in with whatever else you feed them.

Just buy NLS garlic pellets. All my pellet-eating fish love them, even though they wouldn't touch actual pieces of garlic when I threw them in the tank to see.
