Garlic supplementing diet: good or bad

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can really smell the garlic in NLS thera+a pellets. I am an odd one that likes the smell but my wife hates it. I don't know that it's garlic that does it, but my fish just look MUCH better since I added NLS to the feeding regimen. I know its been said a million times, but it was a pretty clear difference. Maybe a week or two later I found myself suddenly shocked at how amazing all my fish looked.. heheh

+1

Maybe about once a week I let some food soak with the garlic. I use it mostly as an appetite stimulant (even though the fish don't need it) and the health benefits. If I got a finicky eater I will use it when trying different foods until the fish starts to eat.

so you dont actually feed the garlic itself? interesting lol i would imagine it to be easier/healthier to insert a little piece into a meaty food

Not before and after, but I can try to take some and post them this afternoon. We have a really nice camera, but my wife is the photog in our family and she isn't interested in taking fish photos.. hehe

They are hard subjects to photo when they move a lot.

Sorry I don't have any before pics.. and these don't really do the fish's vibrance and definition justice.. if they would just hold STILL I could get a clear photo... oh well.

Here are pics from my "fair fish" tank and some of my tropical fish in the neighboring tank both get the NLS:
