beautiful collection and pictures, Ill bet this picture in particular will have many people asking for permission to use it for many years to come- it looks like Chaitika may finally have some competition! really good job

I wonder how many people are going to be converted to the Garmy after seeing these photos...

Those are some beautful gar you have there absolutly blemish free and very crispy water....HAHA!!! don't know if i am converted to the Garmy but definatly have to appretiate the beautyfor sure...

thanks guys!! hopefully a few will be converted...more t-gars need to get available first though!!

splash shots will take a bit more proactise...unlike aros or bass or dats that snap their in a pretty majestic way, these guys are all about efficiency & not about prettiness...they all just convulge and devour whatever's thrown in...kind of like crocs in a zoo.

I love the way the second picture shows the significant snout differences in some of these species, such as the two Lepisosteus sp. versus the three Cubans (Atractosteus).

Then there's the broadest snout of the Leps, the Florida, compared to the longest and thinnest of the Leps, the Longnose.

Anyone new to gars could learn a lot just from that one picture!

(Also worth noting to anyone who doesn't know that Alex's longnose gar is enormous! Must be getting to 30" by now)

Okay I'll shut up about gar now.

Again, very inspiring pictures.
