what type of gar would go good with two oscars

id say dont do it, cause my first set-up was 3 oscars and 2 gars and i would always walk in and see a oscar with a gars snout in its mouth, but thats just my experience

It really depends on what size of fish we're talking about. Most situations are gonna be a little different.

It can work depending on the individual fish. But is not a good idea. Mainly because the oscars will hog all of the food and your gar will get lucky if it gets a feeder.
