i have added silvers and taken them out from my tanks without moving any gar. the aro must be atleast 2/3 the length of the gar for it to work. bowfins need a much larger aro, witch i would assume snakeheads would be similar in that respect.

Then I guess I'm in luck because my gar is the same size as my silver, or actually my silver arowana caught up to him
