Gars!

I just aquired the tropical gar.. its just a few days old so i dont see any difference regarding feeding patterns right now. What i noticed is that it wont shoal with the spotted gars, it would rather follow the arowana around.

My Trop hangs with the spotteds here....

One thing that I did notice is that their eating styles are different. The tgar eats in a violent slashing motion, while the spotteds just bite the food items. The damn thing almost slashed my finger, haha.

LOL....stable, haha. No credit needs to be given. Those two were outgrowing my tank. You did me the favor .

i love the white part on the t-gar. be careful, mine got my finger a while back. they move thier head sideways(slashing) at an alarming rate!!! and he should love pellets?

I have yet to see that.. im gonna try and feed tonight.

Suckerfish - thanks bro. it was on feeders from where i got it from ( Shark Aquarium ). Im gonna wean it on shrimps first and well if it will take pellets.

Ed - no fighting in the tank. I cant stand watching fish chase and bite each other.
