Not to sound stupid, or so..Looks like an eggsack?

Do they hatch out looking that small or is this a "test tube" experiment?

these are freshly hatched larvae, the number i gave was misleading in that 6 days was from time the eggs were laid, so the actual larva had hatched approx 1-2 days prior to pic. if you look closely you can see the dorsal, caudal, and anal fins, along with the anal pore. the head has a suctorial disc which is used for attachment to vegetation (or in this case glass). these fish are from Louisiana, we will soon be spawning our own as well--
