This is a thread on keeping the hardy garter snake, one of the first snakes I've kept

My favorite garters r flame garters, love the colors, looks like a San Francisco garter

All the ones I ever caught would always bite. Don't like em.

I would love to even see a garter snake but it seems that the only snakes around here are the Dekays and water snakes.

I catch them all the time, they smell like complete ass when they musk, therefore I wouldn't keep one.
