GAS :Dies:

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Agreed to some degree, forceful evac. yes. Mistakes....welllll....the thing is, hurricanes have been there before, last year was close enough for them also not to mention previous years. I don't complain of having to help(tax money) when it comes to rebuilding, but funding the rescue and shelter of the people too ignorant to leave? I don't have any compassion for that. New O. is know to be a sinkhole, known not to be safe even if it were a small hurricane. Some mistakes are more costly than others....not to mention some are common sense prevention. Take a wkend vacation (couple days anyways) and if everything is fine, you can go home. Atleast that way you could already be somewhere better rather than suffer more and drive cost of things higher. Am I too harsh??

Dad hasn't driven the H2 in weeks. He's got a little Toyota Camry that he runs back and forth to work. The thing gets over 30mpg. Very solid car. My mom's Mercedes gobbles gas. I have a feeling that if the trend continues, my family is going to have some cars for sale. $3.07 here in NJ btw.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing about 40 minutes ago but I had a talk with my mom and she told me I was being cold hearted and needed to put my self in there situation even if I was smart enough to leave. And I aint gonna argue with momma. :grinno:

its suppossed to go to 3.19-4 according to my buisness teacher

2 days ago it was 2 49, last night it was 2 89 and this morning its close to 3 because of lack of gas coming off of the offshore rigs in the gulf because of that hurricane

ya know.... i used to ask myself "why does a gallon of milk cost more than a gallon of gas?"....seeing how we will never run out of cows. they can be cloned and bred as much as we want. but now i see gas is catching up....very quickly. i'm glad my license is suspended....for now.

I want to know why the oil companies are makeing record profits and no one is throwing a fit. I'm all for a free market but OIL and GAS ARE NOT FREE MARKETS!!!!!!

I've started riding my harley to work to save gas..... I feel for the resturants and movie theaters and sadly I think we are going to see a lot of small shops go under..... support your local pet shops or they won't be around long...... most people are spending their shopping-extra money on gas.

I got gas for $2.69 last night *YAY*

From what I've been hearing on the radio, it's as high as $3.25 for the cheap stuff in some places.
