GAS price check!

I'm pretty sure SC has the cheapest prices the country. Which is awesome. It's around $3.50 here currently. I was in NC the other day and it was a full $.30 more expensive there.

How many of you all remember how much gas was when you started driving?
i remember filling up for 20 bucks and driving all over town back and forth for no reason at all for 2 weeks then doing it again. i think it was like 1.50-1.70 a gallon.

see.. now i feel old. when i started driving.. the price of gasoline had just jumped from $.50 per gallon to $.80 - .85 per gallon. and i remember $.30 per gallon gasoline with full service (oil checked, windows washed, gas pumped, no one ever got out of their car except to use a restroom).

Well I'm not old, but I remember the cheapest I ever saw was .89 cents a gallon... I would fill up my little Ford Focus with like $15 bucks..

The lowest I remember was in the 70's it was .50-.60 then around 1978-1980 it shot up to $1.70 then dropped back to around .70 in the early 80's when I started driving.
last sunday when i pumped after my empty light came on it costed me about $73

Funny story... GF was pumping gas couple of weeks ago and the attendant ask "why you only filling $20? Gas is going to be $0.25 more in the next few days and you will be buying gas again and will pump $20 but YOU WILL GET LESS GAS. it will not be getting cheaper". She filled up the tank... what a good salesmen.
Im paying on average of 4.39 for 91 octane gas. You idiots with costco gas, I wouldn't use costco gas if it was free.
