The peacock bass will out grow him in a couple of months and will eat your tiger. Atf are very slow growers
other than that, they can do well together

I have them right now... FATF, GATF, Lates Mundi and a pack of Orinos...

ATFs are 5.5-6.5", Mundi is about 4" and Orinos are 3.5-4"
As of right now, they are fine... no nipping fins or nothing.
Id say in about a month or so this will change... Orinos will have a bigger temp home till they reach the 300 and ATFs growth will keep them in the same place for maybe 8 months to a yr.

Only way for this to realy work is get a head start on ATFs of about 2yrs... then start growing out the Cichla :)

oh so i should be worried about the gatf more then the cock bass. dang. heh well hes about 3in and the cock bass are 3in. ah, not good? and btw what are GATF more sensitive too? as of water stuff. i was thinking the setup be a pump and a bunch of rocks.

if tank's big enough put a divider in there and feed the GATF more.

my pbass keeping is limited but keeping 2 4" brevis and 2 4" pbass in same tank with various other fish of similar size and temperment. so far no fin nipping. atfs aren't easy to come by it seems so worth the risk, keep a plan B on demand.

Feeding wont do much. GATF growth rate is quite slow...Slender body design doesn't help. Cichla will end up eating it. You need to grow it out on its own, or hold back on cichla.

In the long run this will be a very difficult combo to keep unless you: Obtain or grow the GATF to 15" first and have a very very large tank. 600 gallon + Much bigger would be better. Right now I have a 12-13" GATF and a 14-15" Orino together in a 300 gallon and the orino beats on him constantly. The orino has gone from 7" or so to his current size in the last 6 months. I have grown the gatf from 2" to his size but I've owned him for 3 years. It's only going to get worse for me since the orino eats about 10x more than the tiger.
