I'm not sure about the other Bichirs but my Senegal took an eye out of my Payara before. I'm sure the GATF and Cudas are less susceptible because they're constantly moving but I'm hesitant to put a Bichir in with slower fish now.

Yea i had the same concern but the bichirs are pretty small still. The ornate is the biggest at around 5". The GATF is around 7" now. I had a bichir rip the stomach out of a small catfish i had in there but the catfish was very small...i just try to keep the bichirs very well fed and they pretty much leave all the other fish alone....the bichirs are eating sinking carnivore so its pretty easy to keep them well fed.

Looks nice other than no red in his tail, but seems during the day my gatf fades out the red mostly.at night the red really comes out n covers bottom half of tail. But I'm sure your is just doing the same thing.has your gatf starting to get red yet?
