GATF and Tankmates

Looks nice other than no red in his tail, but seems during the day my gatf fades out the red mostly.at night the red really comes out n covers bottom half of tail. But I'm sure your is just doing the same thing.has your gatf starting to get red yet?

Yea that sounds like mine also. During the day it fades for some reason...but during the night the red comes out alot. Kinda weird though because ive seen some peoples GATF have the red in the tail all the time...

Damn, those guys must still be quite small??? but just curious, what sort of size tank would you need for them when they reach adult size???

Otherwise, very cool seeing GATF being housed in a home aquarium...

I don't get how you can keep this? How big is your tank. A pic of your fish:
