Fantastic looking predator!!!! Future monster.

thanks guys:D:) hope he doesn't bash his face against the tank walls. seems ok so far, but was alr a little damaged from the lfs

first update, it's been about 2 weeks since i got this guy, he's recovered 100% from acclimating & the lfs. he's still on feeders, and currently has a 18" african arowana for a tankmate. he also had 2 redline torpedos as tankmates but has already killed one off. i can't determine if the knife is still alive in the tank. He's been biting feeders in half and leaving bits of fish everywhere, but thanks to the low bioload the filtration's been able to handle it thus far. his snout had actually been perfect for a good while, but maintence & a water change prior to the photo shoot had him bashing his face into the wall. the fish is more or less 5", which gives it a growth rate of .5" per 2 weeks. packing on a good bit of girth as well. all in all a beast fish!

enjoy the pics!

Nice pics. I was hoping for some feeding time pictures....;)

hahaha i'd like that too...perhaps in future, when he's less skittish. i haven't even seen him eat yet.
